Smart Rail Handrail

The Leisure Concepts Smart Rail works regardless of a spa's configuration and makes entry and exit much safer. A rotating mounting bracket accommodates hot tubs recessed in a deck as well as freestanding units. No hot tub should be without this important accessory. The Smart Rail is made of Rust-free Powder Coated Aluminum for a longer lasting hot tub handrail. The Smart Rail mounts on virtually ever hot tub and has a slip free foam hand grip for extra stability when entering and exiting your spa.

Easy install, hoping it holds up

Don't buy - two major flaws

First, it must be installed and screwed into a stud, so you will have to take the cover off and install your own studs in the right places. Install took about two hours to install. Second, the rubber is so flimsy that it cracks and falls off in less than a year. This is what mine looks like after just about a year.

Spa wall does not support this well. Maybe ok to balance with but in no way able to support your weight.

Handrail too short

I probably failed to check and see if there were any measurements on the listing, but the handrail in my opinion needs to be about a foot taller, at least for my hot tub. Lot thorter than I thought it would be
