Little Giant Pool Cover Pump

Little Giant's uniquely designed automatic pool cover pump is ideal for removing water from all types of pool covers. The pump activates in approximately 2" of water and deactivates in approximately 1.5" of water. It has the capability to pump up to 1745 gallons per hour.

The pump is powered with a low energy consumption, permanent-split capacitor (PSC) motor. The motor is mounted in a sealed, stainless steel housing and cooled by the flow of the pumping fluid over the motor housing. The APCP-1700 series has a wide base design for needed stability to prevents the pump from tipping over.

Not Little Giant ,off-brand

Their website says that it's a little giant but it is an off-brand and there are no warranty papers even though the Box tells you it has a three warranty there's no way to register for the warranty.
As of today customer service has been no help.

We do not sell off-brand products. We aren't even aware of an off-brand option for this little giant pump as we have never seen one. The warranty will be based off of the date of purchase and your invoice so you are covered. Nothing needs to be sent in.

The pump has been great.
We have had lots of rain and it worked fast and perfect.
I recommend this product for any pool tarp.

This is a replacement for a previous Little Giant we used on our pool cover. These are a great pump.

Little giant replacement

I recently had to replace my little giant due to it stopped working; my only concern is the staff I talked to. I know there are procedures to have in place, but I believe if you have records of purchases to determine if equipment is still in warranty, shouldn't you send a new unit out asap and not have to make the customer wait.. I had to send in the broken unit and wait a week to have it tested to make sure it was within warranty .
