hot tub cover lift

We like the lift system. I had to modify it a little bit in order for it to work. This involved cutting several tubes about six inches shorter. It works now and my wife can use it with ease,

Difficulty lifting it

I think it’s still a little difficult to pull back but it’s much easier than without. I have arthritis so any assistance is appreciated.

Covermate II was highly recommended locally and easy to purchase online- good price. It came quickly with everything needed. Husband installed it- he made a few adjustments for our situation- it works very well. very happy with purchase.

Works great

Convenience

Installation was easy. Great cover lifter if you don’t want the cover to sit high above the hot tub.

Needs some adjustment for small tub

We ordered a new Covermate to replace an old Covermate that rusted out after about 14 years. (The steel pipe rusted at the pivot point, bent at the bolt hole, and eventually snapped.)

The new unit is just like the old one, which is good. It is a simple but effective design that works well. The unit as shipped was too large for our 3-person Jacuzzi tub, but a hacksaw is all you need to shorten the pivot tubes so the crosspiece lays properly at the top's hinge flap.

Good for another 14 years...

Cover Mate lift

I found it a bit troublesome to install, but it works really well with very little effort to remove or put back. i have a bad back so I have found this to be excellent.
